Wildomar is a city located in the county of Riverside. It is located along the 15 freeway with easy access to Temecula and San Diego to the south, Riverside to the northeast, Irvine to the west, and Los Angeles to the northwest.

The name Wildomar is a combination of the first names of the first founders of the town in December 1886. “Wil” for William Collier, “do” for Donald Graham, and “mar” for Margaret Collier Graham, wife of Donald Graham and sister of William Collier. It was once a sleepy rural Inland Empire town. It is a fast-growing area becoming more suburbanized because of its location with housing costs more affordable than its neighboring cities. It grew more than twice its numbers in population from the 2000 census to the 2010 census.

Wildomar has views Cleveland National Forest Mountains, home to the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve and is close to the wineries in Temecula.
